Project M inspire some stuff for Smash 4?

So I friend and I are talking about if some stuff from PM really where use as inspiration for Smash 3DS/WII U, there's a lot of stuff that we saw as similar beetween the two games and we want to know if Sakurai has ever adrees the mod or mention it in some way, and do you thing it really was use as an inspiration for some stuff? for example DK dash, Lucario up b now with a hitbox and more stuff. What's your opinion?
