Project M freezes when G&W appears in battle!

So recently I added custom costumes to most of the cast. Thus I added battle portraits and pictures for the character select screen to reflex the costumes I added.

All of the picture are the appropriate dimensions so I don't understand what could cause this.

i can select and start a match as or against G&W (any color) and the match starts, freezes when he comes out, and makes a load crazy noise. If you have any idea how this happens? or how to fix? Please let me know

ie if hes in slot 4, your other character loads fine?

its probably the Battle Portrait.

you hit it right on the head. I'm gonna change his back to the orginals and see what happen

so I changed it back to the default and it still freezes on G&W.

change everything back to original, and try that. but make a backup of your current build first.
