Project M freezes after I press Start Game in Gecko?

So this is my first time installing the game. I go to stage builder and all that good stuff loads up and I hit Launch Game. Here I am, at the Project v2.5 screen where it says Please secure your wrist strap to safely contain hype, and it's frozen. I have no idea what to do.

I am using Hackless fullset. Don't really know what else to say.

I have the exact same problem. Also, its says on the website that there is an official troubleshooting guide which I have not been able to find. So if anyone could direct me to that it might help.

Edit: I got it working with the wifi hackless version.
