Project M CPU's VS Melee CPU's

As a Project M player going back to melee, I've noticed that the CPU's in melee put so much more emphasis on doing multihit moves, therefore forcing players to learn SDI. I have never really learned SDI, so I found this to be a useful too for forcing myself to learn it. I think it would be really cool if there was some sort of SDI CPU mode in which you could set a CPU to mainly do multi hit moves in order to learn SDI better. Anybody else have any thoughts on this?

You make a valid point. I've been told however that only one member of the PMBR is designing CPU AI, so I credit the guy. He's doin' a damn good job.

I wouldn't call that emphasis, more like "IF HUMAN PLAYER POS X < 5, PERFORM JAB" every time.

CPUs in P:M are already programmed to teach newcomers not to suck, though I guess variety would be ideal for learning the game.

No denying the good work that one man did, the computers in P:M play so much closer to humans relative to melee. Spent a couple hours the other day against a CPU fox in melee, it was extremely frustrating as it pretty much power shielded every projectile i used(god it made learning young link frustrating) and only used multihit moves, but it also forced me to learn SDI. I definitely prefer the CPU's of project M over any other of the smash games, without question. I just think some sort of expanded training options would be something a lot of players would be interested in. Doesn't necessarily need to be SDI computers, but any of the features from this pack http://smashboards.com/threads/the-...alt-stages-costumes-p2-action-toggles.351221/ or some sort of hitbox indicator/frame data would be amazing. Again, I don't expect any of this, but I believe it would help a lot of newer players learn the game faster, and top players further the metagame even faster.
