the 3.5 version works but neither the beta nor the full release work it just sends me back to the wii menu and I've downloaded the files four times already

been having the same issue here.
you're using homebrew right? even after replacing the files four times it's still busted for you?

it looks like a few people solved this issue by removing any gamecube memory cards. have you tried that?

you should try running pm like its hackless, like through the stage builder.
did this for giggles and it happened to work.
just make sure you delete custom stages and junk like you would, I forgot if that was mandatory for pm to run at all

I used the hackless and I don't have memory cards but whenever I download the 3.5 version it works but the 3.6 beta came out it wouldn't work so I waited for the release and it still doesn't work
