Project M 3.02 Desyncing with Every-player

Everytime I play my friend half way through thew the match the other player will SD, and my they would tell me that on their screen, I lost a life when I haven't on mine. Is there a way to fix this?

I know not everyone has this problem.

Is this on dolphin or wii?

Verify that you two have the same version of Project M. Make sure you are both on 3.0.2.
