Project M 3.01 Freezing on warning screen...

Ok, I finally got everything I needed to run Project M and I'm having an issue; this is my first time trying to run it, so it could be I'm just a noob. I can go into stage builder and it kicks in. I have the launcher loading and it gives me the options to: Play, Update, About, and Quit. The last three options work, no problem. When I select "Play" it goes to the next screen which says Project M 3.0 and it has the warning "Please secure your wrist strap to safely contain hype." but then nothing else happens. It stays on the warning screen. Button presses don't seem to affect it, in fact, the only way i can get out of this screen is to unplug my Wii U system; not even holding the power button down for any amount of time works...So, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Info:
I'm running Project M on a Wii U.
I have all of the root folders of Project M stored on a 2GB(actually like1.87GB, so it's within the limit) formatted to Fat32.
The SD card is NOT locked, nor is it named "Project M" in any type of way.
I'm running the hackless version 3.01.
I'm using an original Wii remote to make selections.
I intend to use an original Wii Classic Controller Pro to actually play (I can do that, right?)

I really just want to get in on this action and if there is anyone out there that can help, I'd be ridiculously appreciative.

I'm having the same problem with the hacked version on my Wii. Hopefully someone finds the solution soon.

I'm having this problem too S:

I'm playing on a regular wii, I've tried two different wii entirely.
I have a 1.87GB SD card (tried formatting with Fat32 and default
Running everything the same as OP, not locked etc.,

The only way to get off the screen is to hold down my power button or unplug the wii... If someone could post a fix asap i'd love you forever
Cheers

Have you guys tried re-downloading the file?

What version OS are you guys running? 4.3?
I tried re-downloading it once and how do you check what version of OS you're running? Also do you think updating my wii could help? It hasn't been connected to the internet for quite a long time /:

Your problem could be your OS is out-dated. Ask our friend google how to update.

Well I just performed a system update after having a ridiculously annoying time connecting to the internet and it's still freezing at the exact same point S: Any other ideas? Should I just go and re-download project m again and give it another go? /:
