Project 64k control issues

Hey all...me and my friend were trying to play smash together...after having network issues, we decided to make a hamachi LAN. Now when I try to host, I have control, whereas my friend can only watch. The situation is inverted when my friend tries to host. Help!

Note: I use an XBOX 360 controller to play smash, my friend uses a keyboard.

I think the problem is that you are using different controller plugins. So when you host, it tries to load your plugin for your friend, which he has not configured.

In short, the simple answer is to both use the same controller plugin, that may solve the problem.

you both have controller 1 configured, duh. if you're hosting have him set controls for player 2 instead.
