I made a new thread instead of posting into the "riivolution faq" thread, because it's not my only problem.
First of all: My Wii's on 4.3e and I have PAL
So, at first I tried using the Gecko OS (because a friend told me to do so). I installed Hombrew Channel and "set up" the Gecko OS. Everything worked fine.
But in the end none of the characters showed up. They're just as always (same goes for stage skins).
Paths in my SD Card:
I:\private\wii\app\RSBP\pf\fighter\Dedede\FitDedede00.pcs
I:\codes\RSBP01.gct
I:\apps\Gecko OS v1.9.3.1\boot.elf
I've checked the rsbp01.gct several times. Loaded it from the internet, made it by myself, got it from a friend... And yes, I used the PAL code.
Gecko says when I start Brawl "ID: RSBP01 - codes found - applying"
So other cheats like the unrestricted pause camera work, but not the skins.
I've watched hundreds of tutorials, but all are quite the same.
after various tries I gave up and looked for another thing. Riivolution.
With Riivolution everything was perfect. The skins for chars and stages worked (at least some of them), but the problem is the game keeps freezing. It doesn't freeze always, but most of the time, like 80% of all tries. No matter which skins/PSAs I'm using.
The game freezes randomly. Sometimes in the loading screen, sometimes in the character selection....
