Hey guys, I've been playing melee netplay using the IRC to find people for a while now. My ping with people close to my area is perfect, getting average 30-40 ping. The problem is when I play with my friend who lives 20 min away. Our ping averages around 60-70. I don't mind the okay ping, the issue is that we spike a lot when we play together. This only happens when I'm playing with him.
We have the same dolphin settings, turned off firewall, we tried everything but our netplay experience is terrible. Any suggestions on why we spike when playing together? Keep in mind that this started happening a few days ago, we used to consistent ping, now it spikes a lot.
