problems with brawl

some people who have pre-ordered brawl of the GAME website and got it a day early are saying that they get a disc error. it seems the wii can't read dual layer disc. has anyone else had this problem yet?

Some people got it with the American version.

Something to do with if it got too much dust/cigarette smoke in the lens then it can't read DL, NOA had a service to fix it which NOE will probably do as well.
