Problems morphing Marth's hair (for my Xemnas vertex)

So I just spent several hours making a really good looking Xemnas haircut for Marth, but after I clone and try to pick from scene with the morpher, it doesn't let me click the modded hair. Is there a special way to change Marth's hair that I don't know of? Did I just waste several hours?

Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Here's the 3ds file so far, btw

If it helps, I'm working on polygon 15 (vertex set 14).
