This is the biggest problem when I'm attempting a tether recovery. Occasionally the grab button will cause a fair for example, or a pivot grab attempt ends up being a pivot tilt.
Any explanation for this? Possibly a solution to this problem?
Thanks, y'all. ^^

Thanks, that explains my pivot grab problem! My tether recovery is still an issue at times though.

I guess the grab button becomes an a button. For instance if you start your jab combo with a character you can finish or continue them by pressing your grab button. I know it's ******** but there's nothing we can do.

I imagine that stopping all directional input while attempting a tether grab may help.
But that's just speculation. I can't test right now, and I don't play any tenet characters. I imagine there is something on YouTube for it.

I really, really wish this game's input would just buffer what you're trying to do instead of lowest common possibility.

So Z in the air on a tether character should always tether (Unless you've done so three times and no buffering would let it work), c-stick should always smash (Even if you're playing online and there's lag and it just wants to jab) etc.

Defaulting to "I just pushed A" in those situations because the combo button happens to include A is awful behavior.
