Problem with game inputs.... Anybody else having this problem?

Well, pretty much, I'm having a problem with my controller. For all games, I use the gamepad. Smash Bros. is no exception. I don't have a gamecube controller or classic controllers. So the other other controls left are Wii Remote and Wii + nunchuck. I hate Wii Remote controls, And normal wii remote Doesn't allow up tilt, which is essential to my main. So that leaves just the gamepad.

But, there's a problem. The inputs aren't working. No,it isn't me. It isn't lag (This happens offline too). The game isn't doing it. It's the controller itself. My gamepad simply isn't working right. I already noticed something odd about it this summer. The R button was weak. It worked fine, but it feels like it isn't going far down as it should - Like it's already slightly lower automatictially. It still worked fine though, so I didn't worry about it.

Now this week, it's complety wearing out, it appears. My left control stick is acting very oddly. When I try to do neutral B's in the air, it might do a side B instead. Airs, tilts, and pretty much anything except smashes (Since I used the right control stick for them), do a differant attack in the category a lot. And most importantly, I can almost never run to the left, only walk. I have toctry REALLY hard to run to the left. Even then it only works half the time. On the opposite side, Running to the right sometimes goes a little longer then when I let go. Also, when I try to forward throw, half the time my character just stands there for five seconds, and then lets go of the opponent.

It makes it nearly impossible for me to win. It's only been doing this for about a week, but it's a drastic problem. It's only getting worse.

So, I have a question. Any other gamepad users, do you have the same problems? And if so, how do you work around it?

Or, is this a problem that can't be worked around? If so, What should I buy to replace it? I havn't tried playing another game in a little bit, but this week I've played Mario Maker flawless, so I don' know if the gamepad is simply unuseable.

So could anyway help me with this? Thanks

I use the gamepad myself. I don't have any trouble with basic inputs, though sometimes in the heat of battle, I sometimes get hit with something and feel like I should have dodged it or hit the opponent first. But I doubt that has anything to do with my gamepad.
