Hey guys, hopefully this is the correct place to post this.

So I'm having trouble with either my controller or adapter, I'm not entirely sure which is the issue. In Smash, my character randomly walks to the right, ending in an SD. As you can see, this is a problem. I know it isn't a lot to go off, but does anyone know if there's a reliable way to see if my Gamecube Controller is the problem, or my adapter. If it helps at all, I had to purchase an unofficial adapter off of amazon; I'm sure you all know why.

This adapter plugs into the wii remote instead of the console. (People say they get input lag with this, but I don't notice it. Would it be because I have Wii motion plus?) I plan to get a proper adapter for my birthday in April, so I'm hoping it's just an adapter issue and not the controller. Any help is appreciated.

I'm almost positive it's a problem with the adapter. But when I played the GameCube if it ever did that, I just had to blow into the controller (and the adapter in this case.) So try doing that. If it still dosent work you are probably going to need a new adapter.

Make sure the control stick isn't tilted when you turn on the remote/console.
Interesting, I'll make sure of that, thanks!

I hope you're right; I can handle looking for a new adapter, but I really don't want to search for a gamecube controller. I'll try giving the controller and adapter a clean; I suppose that could be a problem as I've only recently taken the controller out of a dusty attic for Smash. Thanks!
