When I'm doing a combo like downwards side-b --> downwards side-b --> up-b --> jump --> up-b, I can't get the jump up-b. But when I do normal up-b --> jump --> up-b its so easy. What am I doing wrong here.

Please ask combo related questions in the combo or Q&A thread. Just for future notice.

Also, I believe it might just be the extra percent from the two Dive kicks as well as the multiple quick button inputs. Your timing and spacing is also probably thrown off. Try to get then as close to Bayo as possible, or even behind. This makes the opponent not go as far, allowing it to combo easier. Also, the top hit might be messing you up, as it sends the opponent at a slightly different angle then on a grounded opponent.
