Problem holding down buttons on wiimotes

I can't seem to hold down any buttons while playing brawl at all at times. If I'm lucky, I can play without any problem for as long as the game is running. Like, if I'm running it just stop randomly and walk/run again. I can hold down any buttons when I'm playing other games just fine.

It's probably your controller either low on battery power, or it's not working properly.

The battery is full and it only happens when I play brawl so I highly doubt that the controller is the problem.
