I'm posting this as someone who joined just to ask this question.
Me and my brother have had the save data on Brawl since day one and we still play it every now and then. I downloaded Project M to try but I have one question: How safe is this for save data on the original?
We still haven't unlocked everything but we still have too much to just lose in one day.
