both of you need to stop charging your smashes when the opponent is trying to return. you cant just hope they will go into it.
the marth could have ***** the fox's returns if he had try using a decent b-air, n-air, or a well-timed a d-air. especially if the fox always goes up, just wait on the ground, and when you see which way they are going, just follow their movement and react. dont just charge a smash.
ehh... the marth used counter too often. if the fox had just ran at you and not attacked, he would have gotten a free hit, because he could punish you if he didnt strike right away.
also, WAY to many f-smash and dash attack. try and shffl a n-air as an approach once in a while. or maybe a dash in wavedash back, then wavedash back in again and grab.
the fox was overall a decent player, i think my fox is about the same. just practice those waveshines and edge guarding. its pretty easy to predict a marth's recovery. if he is dropping down to go for the ledge, then edge-hog. if he is going for a platform, or the stage then get the b-air/n-air ready. shines **** as well, lol
ok, well c ya
