Preparing for your Second tournament

After a heart breaking and hype losers match, I was out of the tournament. I felt I could do better then that. For hours I have been training for my second tournament. I have been practicing my weak areas of play. I feel really bad because I went back to friendlies and beat a fairly good player who was just sent to losers. Bodied him with sheik. If I played like that I could be placing much higher. How do I prepare mentally as I go in expecting to get farther than last time.

You felt bad for practising and seeing results?

And what do you mean mentally "prepare" for it? Obviously it's going to be disappointing if you don't place as high as you would of liked but you just have to go and play your best.

No no, I had been knocked out of the tournament by someone I should have been able to beat, then afterwards beat a fairly good player in a very intense friendly and may or may not have put some money on the line.

Still you felt BAD for beating someone? If I beat a good player at out scene I would never let them forget about it! :p

I don't feel bad about it, why would I feel bad about that? No, I feel bad about losing when I should have won. I played on tilt game 2 and 3, missed important tech, and had no game plan going into the match. Also shout out to nick cage
