Tl;dr: Loose thumbsticks or tight thumbsticks? Or a combination?

I'm the process of custom ordering my own controller, mostly for aesthetics but partially for functionality. There are quite a few options regarding the left analog stick and it got me wondering which of them is preferred among the community or if there is an optimal setting that is objectively better. I've searched the internet and can't seem to find a large pool of information about this.

First off, I should mention that this is a Battle Beavers custom controller, so those familiar with BBC or the website can skip this paragraph. Stick tension is the first modification, listing options for stock tension, slightly loose, extra loose, and tight. Tension refers to how much pressure is required to move the stick from center position to any desired direction. Tighter tension means more force is needed to move the stick, and loose tension means it will move easier. The second option is snapback reduction, which I see from most people as a universally agreed upon must. Finally, there is deadzone modification, which gives you the option to add a small bit of extra wobble to your stick before it registers movement.

Okay, so there's a few combinations I have considered. Tight stick tension with slightly added deadzone, or slightly loose tension with no added deadzone. I don't want an extra loose stick, so thats out of the question. But what would be the difference in tight + deadzone compared to slightly loose + no deadzone? Does anyone have any experience with this at all? Would appreciate any input :)
