Vintage Creep
Smash Master
Can't believe we don't have this game yet.
Simple game: predict what picture will be out tomorrow.
Not so simple rules, though. Basically, you can say anything, from something generic like "We're getting a new item!" to something a little bit more specific like "We're getting Luigi riding Bowser and slapping his ass with the Fan!". Obviously, you get more points the closer you get to reality.
To make things simpler for the poor dude who's gonna have to count the points (probably me but I don't know if I'll have the time everyday, if that's gonna be the case I'll gladly give the OP to someone else without problems, I just wanted to laid out the idea) you'll have to be a little schematic.
PLEASE EVERYONE, READ THESE RULES AND FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE I'LL GIVE IN THE NEXT POST.
Basically, there are this kind of updates possible:
- Character reveal
- Stage reveal
- Stage explanation (from stage hazards to a simple picture showing a different angle)
- Item reveal (returning or new)
- Poké Ball reveal
- Assist Trophy reveal
- New gameplay mechanic
- Character buff/nerf
- Character's move explanation
- Something related to game modes (trophies for example)
Now, let's suppose you bet there's going to be a stage reveal, and Donkey Kong Island gets revealed.
You get three points.
If you'd bet a stage from the DK franchise to get revealed, you would've got 10 points.
If you'd bet the actual Donkey Kong Island stage to get revealed and it actually happens, you'd got a whopping 100 points.
That works for every other type of reveal (not sure I got them all).
If you want to be brilliant, you can explicitly describe the photo in every detail, and then I'll analyze it to see how good you got it. I could get up to 1000 points even! For example, you say "DK Island is gonna appear with an image of a shore with palms and penguin vikings!" and if the image is exactly that, I'd give you 1000. If the vikings for example are not in the picture but the rest is like you said, I'd give you 500, or 600, on my discretion. Obviously, the more details you give, the more points you get if they're correct.
For characters, even if there are 10 picture you're allowed to describe only one of them. If one of the 10 pictures is like you said, I'll consider that one. This is only because if I had to analyze 10 different pictures for everyone one of you, I'd kill myself, simply put.
Oh, and you obviously have to point if the picture will be WiiU or 3DS. If you get it right, you'll double the point, but if you get it wrong, you'll loose half of them!
This probably sounds really convoluted but I guess that after a few tries you'll get how it works, so let's just try for the next week and see if it works and has success.
