Practicing movement?

I've gotten a lot of advice from players as general as 'practice movement a lot'. What exactly does that entail? This is such a broad question that I feel stupid posting it, but I just want to be sure that I know exactly what to practice.

In edition to what Sailblade said i would also practice regrabs on the ledge, aerials off the ledge, waveshines, multishines, OOS Options, edge canceled aerials, edge canceled phantasms, and practice your recovery options over and over. Only got 4 stocks in tournament, no need to loose them over stupid SD's.

I don't know your skill level, but if you're just starting I think Kirbykaze's website lists some movement drills that could be useful. After you're done with those, just try to put all of the movement options together and make sure that you know what you're threatening whenever you're moving. Beyond that, just practice basic tech: for example, you can do SHFFL aerials, you can shine after them, you can practice waveshines (both with and without hitlag), wavedash OOS, etc. There's no easy way to practice aside from putting in raw hours, unfortunately. gl
