What are you guys' thoughts on practicing against CPU's.
Personally I like to practice my combo game on them and chaingrab spacies
Also I'm not talking about the 20xx ones, just the normal ones

This topic is a little bit recurring

Anyways, I never play against CPUs because it's boring (Filthy casual)

But when I want to get better at Melee when I'm alone, I play Guilty Gear and Street Fighter online. They help teach me the fundamental skills of spacing, prediction, and mix ups

I beat up level ones usually. Its really boring but the closest melee players are like an hour away.

At least level 1's tend to DI behind, good for practicing smash turn dash jc regrabs out of throw lag at tough percents.

It's much easier said than done, but try hard not to develop habits when playing against CPU's for weeks at a time.

Yeah unfortunately CPU's are my only reliable way of practicing since my main practice partner(s) live about 20-30 minutes away by car and I can't drive yet.

I would say lvl 1 to warm up then lvl 7 if you're getting bored. Try not to play for a super long time, try 15-30 minute increments focused just on tech skill
