Potential local tourney

So a friend of mine is thinking setting up a small local tournament at his church. He has a limited amount of equipment available to run the tourney. Any advice for him?

Bracket fee should be $5, venue fee should be $3. This way, he can offer to waive a venue fee if a player provides a setup but also make the majority of the money he would've had the player not provided a setup. Such an offer would help bring in more setups and eventually more people.
