Smash Apprentice
Ace attorney in smash, why not? Ace attorney is my favorite series of all time so seeing characters from make it in smash would make my life complete. So what are the most likely AA characters to make it in smash? Well Phoenix wright of course, but could there be more than just good old nick? I have no idea, but here's my ideas for character and movesets for them (I'm only doing Special attacks for movesets because I'm not creative enough to do a full moveset.
Phoenix Wright Ft. Maya
Neutral B- Maya shield- In this move Maya appears and summons a bubble around Phoenix that blocks projectiles and pushes other fighters back slightly (think Pit's down-b)
Side B-OBJECTION-This move is pretty self explanatory, Phoenix dramatically points and shouts OBJECTION! And a big "objection" speech bubble appears in front of phoenix.
Down B-Dusting for fingerprints- In this move Phoenix crouches down and applies fingerprint dust on the stage and whenever another fighter steps on the spot that the dust is placed they trip and receive a small amount of damage.
Up B-Justice point- In this move, Phoenix points upward and a ray on light is sent into the sky (think palutena's up-b)
Final smash-Final contradiction- *SPOILERS FOR ACE ATTORNEY TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS* Phoenix's final smash will mirror the ending of the third ace attorney game; trials and tribulations. When phoenix activates the final smash he will use a huge objection bubble to trap opponents and then it will go into a cutscene where a giant Phoenix stands in court, he slams the desk and then points at his opponents and as he points the ghost of Mia Fey appears next to Phoenix as he finishes of his foes with a climatic finger point.
Echo fighters
There's no way Ace attorney is getting 2 reps so here are some possible echo fighter for Phoenix (and their assist character)-
Miles Edgeworth Ft. Kay Faraday-Miles Edgeworth really is the echo that makes the most sense, he's a fan favorite character who has 2 spin-off games. His inclusion would also kinda work with the heroes and villains theme since Phoenix and Edgeworth are more or less rivals. For his final smash instead of Mia showing up *Spoilers* Edgeworth's father, Gregory Edgewoth would show up.
Apollo Justice Ft. Trucy Wright- Apollo justice, the new face of ace attorney has a slight chance to make it as an echo fighter for phoenix. While he's not as popular as Edgeworth, he is very popular. Now regarding his assist character, Trucy, I think Trucy makes the most sense for an assist character for Apollo because she is his assistant in most games where Apollo is playable, but the assistant character could also be Athena Cykes.
Detective Gumshoe Ft. Franziska von Karma- Alright, hear me out, Gumshoe could work. While it would be pretty weird to hear Gumshoe to be shouting OBJECTION, he could work, most of the things that Phoenix does in his moveset anyone could do, even a clueless detective could do them. As for Franziska, she would be Gumshoe's assistant because of they're connection. It would also be pretty rad if they added some Easter egg where instead of protection Gumshoes, Franziska whips him.
