As the title says, this is just a couple issues/general questions I have while trying to level up my Marth game that I hope to get some help with or answers to.

1. When it comes to wavelanding on platforms, I'm having some trouble getting it down. But my issue is timing the waveland properly every time. I know the timing for every platform varies by stage, but I feel like I'm doing it too slowly because of Marth having a floaty jump. Is waiting a sec after the jump for Marth to be above the platform enough to WL proper or is there a faster way?

2. Aside from pivot dtilt, how is a quick dtilt done during a DD? Is one way a really tiny/short WD into dtilt? A WD down into dtilt? Or is it too situational to have a general answer? I feel like my WD dtilt is too long if I go a direction and WD down dtilt comes out too slowly.

3. A good way to solo practice edgeguarding Spacies side-b would be helpful. I have 20XX as well.

For wavelanding on platforms, you just have to practice and acclimatise yourself to the timing. If you're airdodging below the platform then you're too low. If you can see yourself airdodging through the air before hitting the platform and sliding or if you can hear Marth go "otta!" then you're too high. Basically if it looks like you're too high then you are, and if it looks like you're too low then you are; there's nothing special to it.

To down tilt from a dash, you can:
• Wavedash
◦ Takes 14 frames.
◦ Available from any point in the dash or run.
◦ You retain your momentum from the dash during jumpsquat. You can halt all of your momentum by shield-stopping before you wavedash, which takes 1 frame.​

• Pivot
◦ Takes 1 frame.
◦ Available from frame 4 of dash or later (the turn can be buffered on frame 3, but won't occur until frame 4 at the earliest).
◦ Often results in a dash attack if you mess up (which is really punishable in a lot of situations).
◦ Difficult to execute (though completely possible to learn to do consistently).​

• Keep dashing in the same direction until you transition into run, then crouch out of the run to cancel it.
◦ Since you have to transition to run first, this technique takes 3 + (15 - current dash frame) frames.
◦ The 3 frames consist of a minimum of 1 frame of run, followed by 1 frame of runbrake into a minimum of 1 frame of crouch. The 15 frames consist of the 15 frames of dash required to enter run (you enter run on the 16th frame).
◦ Therefore, assuming you don't run or crouch for longer than necessary, the minimum number of frames it can take is 3 (if you're on the last last frame of dash), and the maximum is 17 (if you're on the first frame of dash).
◦ You retain your momentum from the run during runbrake and crouch.​

• Teeter cancel (dash or run to the edge of the stage or platform with your control stick in the neutral position to cancel it and stop at the edge)
◦ Takes 1 frame, plus however many frames you need to reach the edge of the platform or stage.
◦ It only works when you're near the edge, and only against offstage opponents, so it's situational. You can also often substitute it for one of the other options.​

3. A good way to solo practice edgeguarding Spacies side-b would be helpful. I have 20XX as well.
You can't get spacies to recover with side-B (you can use the 20XX action spam code to make them spam grounded shortened side-Bs, but that's it). The only thing you can do is pretend that they're doing it and cover it anyway (just like you have to do for variable up-B angles).
