Uh... first post ever. Here we go.
OK, I was trophy hunting for the bosses in SSE when I chose Snake to fight those siamese twin robots on the deck of the Halberd. I used him and threw a grenade.
Thinking that I could get the grenade to explode as they moved closer, I fired a Nikita missile straight forward. It did explode, however but the missile actually "jumped" (it was still on-screen) and I was able to cancel it and drop it on them.
"Missile Jumping"?
On training mode however, I used a weak throw for the grenade, rolled away, and fired the missile. I guided it a bit and canceled it then was able to drop it on the CPU.
Later I found out that you can actually "combo" with it at higher percents (around 100% or so). Requires some timing that, the grenade explodes just as the missile gets close to it.
So, the grenade explodes, launching the foe up, then the missile hits them, with lolwhatalot of knockback, effectively KOing them.
edit: I have tried this on both a Dedede and Pit CPU (at 100% damage) on FD, and it works!
Yay/nay?
