Maybe it's a no...but I just thought that this is something to be looked into.

Maybe it only works with Final Smashes? Or just a wifi glitch?

EDIT
crap, after posting this, I think I know what happened. Falcon could've possibly gotten behind Marth fast enough when the Final Smash was activated.
