Here's an interesting notion for 'ya; what if there are rarer items that can give a player positive health percentages? For example, let's say a Zalda with 0% damage eats a Life Shroom from Super Mario Galaxy. Her health would increase a to +20% and Bowser, the opponent, would then have to knock her damage back down to zero before her knockback increases, again.

An interesting Idea. That's definitely something different. Might be annoying if that was an item put on high >_>

So just a negative reading instead of stopping at 0.

Could work, makes full use of all those recovery items..

You mean negative health?

That would be cool, makes sense..

Would the knockback be even lower too?

Negative knock back! When someone hits you when you have negative percentage, you fly towards them, not fly away! Knocking them up would shoot you down, and ETC!!! ZOMG A FREE ETC!!?!? Thats right! Only if you order in the next five minutes. Can I have the number? No F*** you, you must recover!

With knockback, I figure it'd stay the same as normal until the player's % turns to zero. Either that it could be reduced to a point.

And why I called it 'positive' instead of 'negative', you ask? I always thought clubbed with a hammer, shot with a gun, slashed with a sword or burnt with fire as a negative thing. Maybe it's just me. So I would assume that eating something that could heal ones self from that would be labeled as "+", not "-"".
