Poland is Missing?

I found this a while ago but it seems like people still don't know about it. Anyway...

Open up date and time properties and select time zone and you'll see this map.
So...thoughts? Opinions? Conspiracy theories? Or is it just old news and my search was inadequate?

Yeah, this is really really old news. I remember someone making the joke, "They forgot about Poland" referencing Bush saying it in a debate, which was actually recent at the time. I preferred to believe that Poland had simply went the way of Atlantis.

I tried saving versions of both pictures, resizing so they were both the same, and then superimposing the "Poland missing" map on CK's map, but the "Poland Missing" map from the Windows clock thing is not even proportionally correct. So I declare this a case of incorrect proportionality. Thus, it is impossible to determine, using the skewed Windows map, whether or not Poland is actually missing in that picture, without looking at political boundaries (which Microsoft clearly did not include).

It is impossible to determine whether Poland is really missing or whether it's just an 'illusion' that is the result of the continents' improper proportions.

I can't tell if you're joking but it's pretty obvious that the Baltic Sea has engulfed Poland on the Microsoft map.

• in box one, type in 'Tampa, FL'
• IN box two type in "Paris, France"
• Click 'get directions'
• Scroll down to Step 26

I reckon it sunk under the weight of beefy Polish builders. And their beefy sausages. Or perhaps the destruction of their homeland is the reason that said beefy Polish builders have inhabited England? They're like the limey version of Mexicans, except they all have doctorates in physics and suchlike.
