I edited the first party pokemon, and set the party pokemon options underneath to 1. After I save my code, I open it up and drag it over to action replay custom codes. It shows up as Pokemon Pearl (JPN). How do I get it to make US codes because the JPN code will not activate on my game?

Dont you just drag down pokemon pearl to your codelist from the list of american games? and then add a new cheat or w/e.?

you have the wrong version.
There is one that outputs english codes.
