Pokerus Virus

I just caught it, I am trying to hatch my eevees and I looked at summarry and saw my staravia and my Infernape had Pokerus. It has the purple box with PKRS in it, does this mean I can spead it? Also, how do I spread it?
People say it gives you extra exp, but I didn't notice a diffrence...how much extra is it supposed to give?
I know it gives you double the EV's.
I managed to make it spread...somehow...so I still need an answer to make it consistent xD
Edit- I wanna bump it...but I hate double posters...don't wanna be a hypocrite.
Anyway, if I deposite my Eevee (That has Pokerus) whenever I'm not using it. And I use it for short periods of time, will it have Pokerus forever? Or will the time it isn't deposited add up?
ANother way I could ask that is, does the time it take for Pokerus to wear off cancel out when you deposite it or simply pause?

it spreads by simply having the pokemon in your party when you battle. I'm not sure about the pause thing but it will stay for a lot longer if you just leave it in the box and continue to spread it

At 12:00 a.m, any poke that's in your party that has pokerus will lose the ability to spread it, UNLESS you deposit those pokes.

Pokerus

How do I get it?
You "randomly" find a pokemon with it. You have to catch one, or defeat a pokemon with Pokerus. The possibility of finding a Pokemon with Pokerus is less then finding a shiney Pokemon. You cannot tell the difference of finding a Pokemon with Pokerus and a Pokemon without so it's all about luck.

What is it?
It's a Pokemon Virus that doubles your Pokemon's Effort Value (EV).

What is EV?
Effort Values are points that you put on your pokemon to stack up stats. Let's say you have a pokemon with 100 attack at lvl 30? If you give your pokemon 100 EV's in Attack, that will determine how much more Attack it will get when it levels up. EV points can apply to ATK,HP,DEF,SPATT,SPDEF, and SPD. The limit of EVs is 510 in total, but 255 maximum in one stat.

Where Do You Get EV?
Any pokemon you fight you gain EV. EV is given to a Pokemon after you defeat a pokemon in a battle wild or not.

Example: You fight your rival's pokemon in the beginning of the game so you get 1 EV point from it.

How to Keep Pokerus?
Put it in the PC.

How do you get rid of it?
You keep it in your party until 12:00 AM (Midnight). It's a good thing so you shouldn't want to get rid of it. Always make sure you keep at least 1 pokemon so you can spread it on other pokemon later.

How do I get it back?
You can't. Once you keep it in your party and it becomes 12:00 (Midnight), there will be a dot instead of a purple rectangle. The Dot means they will have the Pokerus effect, but it cannot spread anymore.

Thanks ppl, is the Q+A tread a sticky? because I was looking for it, couldn't find it. So my pokerus is safe as long as I keep depositing it. and even if it runs out my Eevee will still have the benefits of the virus, just no way of spreading it. XD thanks ppl.

Yeh, I google things before I ask them...and I pretty much found this not too long after asking.
I'd search for maybe 5-10 min then ask and I'm a crappy searcher...then I'd search some more once I'd asked. Then I get diffrent answers and compare them. Usually take the most frequent ones.
I'd read the EV guide a while ago too, just didn't bother with pokerus cuz I'm unlucky and never get rare stuff like that...until now xD
