If a pokemon has been cured of pokerus ( indicated by the small face on summary screen), does it still have accelerated ev training?

Yes, the only difference is that it the Pokerus can't infect other Pokemon anymore.

Yes. When the purple thing above the sprite that says 'Pkrs' is active, that means it's able to infect other Pokemon in the party with it. After a while it goes away and it leaves a tiny yellow smiley beside the sprite that indicates that the Pokemon still has Pokerus but just can't infect other Pokemon with it anymore.

Nope it can't ;p It stays there permanently, so there's nothing so worry about. Pokerus is basically just an endless disease of good and win. Problem solved? ;o

I think it does lose the ev boost. I just trained milotic under the assumption that the dot meant no more ev boost and my stats came out as expected.

It doesn't lose it. It's been confirmed numerous times. You can check by going to the Effort Ribbon lady in Sunyshore. And trust me, I've EV trained a lot of Pokemon so I know. And are you checking your lvl 100 stats? Because if you don't, they will probably be inaccurate as your stats will only gradually increase. Example: You've just trained your Pokemon for 160 def EV and it levels up. 160 EV = 40 stat points, but you only see +20/+21 when your stats increase.

That is true, because when you EV train a very low lvl pokemon it doesnt gain that many stat points when it lvls, the most i got was like 4 or 5, and I maxed out its EVs.

Thank you I've been trying to find out what that smiley face meant:)

Stamping your library books.
The face isn't a smiley. In fact, it looks quite bored.

Anyone ever played Paper Mario 2? You know that guy that 'curses' you? I bet he made the Pokerus.
