Pokemon Vgc 2010 Wifi Tourney.

Man i havent been here for a while.... but hai AS you may no natiotals or champioship is coming this year. For Nationals, In Indiana (YAY =D). Any ways here are the rules

POKEMON VGC 2010 RULES:

1. HEART GOLD/SOUL SILVER ARE THE ONLY GAMES BEING USED

2. Double Battle Cup

3. 4 pokemon in a battle

4. Pokemon lv. 1 through lv 100 are allowed (!)

5. Battles are at lv. 1-50. If the pokemon are above lv. 50, the game will auto level them down to lv. 50 for the battle. Moves will stay intact during the auto leveling. If a pokemon is under lv. 50, no change is made.

6. No two of the same pokemon can be used (species clause)

7. Item Clause is on, Soul Dew is banned.

8. BANNED POKEMON ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Mew
Celebi
Jirachi
Deoxys (all forms)
Phione
Manaphy
Darkrai
Shaymin
Arceus

9. You may use UP TO TWO UBERS PER TEAM (probably means Team Sheet as well). This means that you cannot have a team like Kyogre/Palkia/Dialga/Mewtwo. Non-banned Ubers are considered to be:

Mewtwo
Lugia
Ho-oh
Kyogre
Groudon
Rayquaza
Dialga
Palkia
Giratina


10. Any other pokemon may be used (this includes Tyranitar and all Rotom forms!)

11. A few move changes: Nature Power always results in Tri Attack; Secret Power has a one third chance of paralysis; using Camouflage means your pokemon becomes Normal type

1. Everyone knows about this, I don't think any of us will attend it anyway.
2. HGSS isn't even out here, only a few of us have the JP versions.
3. There arent 32 players to make a tourney.
4. We can't even do this on SHody Battle due to it being doubles.
5. 4v4 sucks.

7. What is the point of the sign-ups HERE again? I mean, we can't play it.
8. Nobody cares.
9. You don't seem to understand this board too well. Maybe you should have lurked or talked or used the Q&A thread a little to get a grasp of this board better.

Great. Except almost nobody has these games. Also, Shoddy Battle would be a lot better for a tournament.

Why are Celebi, Jirachi, Phione and Shaymin (who are OU or below) banned? Why are all others except Arceus banned? They're just normal ubers right?

Why specifically unban these ubers? IIRC, Mewtwo is better than Phione.

Are you suggesting Tyranitar is anywhere near game breaking? Learn about the competitive scene, lolz.

32? In a week? Fat chance there. The other tourney thread managed to get 23, which I believe is almost a record in the PC.

Naw man, the record's almost double that. Remember PR's Crew tourney? I think that holds the record at 40.

But that tourney didn't even make it past the first round, if it tells you what a higher number of entries does to a PC tournament.
