Why don't you look around the other threads?
There's speculation that since Sakurai didn't use the name that is widely accepted as his official name because he'll have alternate costumes as other trainers, such as Blue, Green, etc.

And... Darkurai pretty much summed it up. Blue would make just as much sense as an alt costme, since he too can get the three starters.

Yeah, but that would require three new movesets, giving Pokemon a minimum of 7 characters. Plus it would detract from PT's originality. That's baaaaaad.

and mario link marth cap. falcon pikachu fox all have clones so taking the orgidonallyty of the pokemon trainer wouldnt be taken just a alternative like falco.

Until the clones are proven to be coming back, I doubt anyone else will want a PT clone.

If they add any other Pokemon trainer it's got to be one of the girls. We have a deficiency in female fighters, and the ability to pick your gender is pretty important to Pokemon. (was even intended for the first game, but was removed for technical issues)


But it seems unlikely that we'll see one. Pokemon tend to be pretty wildly different from each other so it's no simple matter to clone one of them let alone three.

That all said part of me wants to see another Pokemon trainer. Not because I'm really interested in the character either, there's just something really sad about being a lone Pokemon trainer.
