Pokemon Stadium needs to be banned

Nice trolls lmao, don't you think if this was the case it'd be banned already? All stages are inherently advantageous for certain characters, and PKS certainly isn't for Fox cause of his u-air. there are plenty of other reasons.

To be fair, it's a counterpick only stage for a reason lol. I think it's a good stage, and spacies do have advantages, but things are slowly changing. Marths now will take foxes to ps to chaingrab. It's not a perfect stage but it isn't banworthy.

Unless you mean, the stage transformations are too RNG-based, I will give you that.

Its definitely a questionable stage. Most of the transformations are pretty jank. However, I think it's a good stage for spectators, cliff fights always gets the crowd going.

From a competitive standpoint, would a frozen Pokemon stadium be preferable? Probably yes, same with windless Dreamland and no shy guy yoshis. But I really don't think it's something that needs to be changed. I'd rather see another counter pick stage legalized that isn't as advantageous for fox.

Freezing PS would require hacking or a 20XXTE memory card, which might be impractical to use since they require tools outside of the base game. 20XXTE memory card only works on version 1.2 and hacking it only works on Wiis (I don't bother with 20XX, so correct me if I'm wrong about anything). This limits the ease of making setups and the number of setups players can supply

I don't mind having the stage changes to be honest. Btw, I'm pretty sure most melee versions in the US are 1.2 (don't quote me on that), and I do know that it is actually really easy to hack a wii for 20xx (because I've done it).

PS offers one of the more unique topologies of the stages to play upon. Its a large stage with sides you cannot climb up against with no top platform. Many characters I feel should really like this stage because they do not have to deal with the antics of a top platform.

Its one of the most consistent random stages a person can play upon. I believe stage topology matters when dealing with smash because it is the stages and platforms that make smash smash.

I'm in favor of banning ps simply because it's often very boring stage to play on especially in tournaments. It's pretty common to see 40 second long periods of next to no interaction between players just because of a silly transformation.

There's no grounds to ban it because it's unbalanced, because it's certainly not broken for any character.

Well the collision detection works poorly on some transformations. You can get hit through the tree and fall to your death, which obviously happens very rarely, but it's very very irritating when it does happen. I've also got shined through the ground at the border near ledge where the stabile flat white part changes to transformation ground type.

Puff and Peach aren't exactly good on Dreamland. Neither have legitimate answers to camping spacies or Sheik. Stadium, on the other hand, is just comparatively good for spacies, especially fox.

It should be banned, with our stagelist shortened to 3..

It shouldn't be banned but there is a good reason why it's a CP and not a Neutral.
