Pokemon Stadium glitch...

well i was playin my cousin, known as kyd on here, in a match on PKMN Stadium(Melee version) and we noticed something. he did wolfs Forward B and went through the tree that appears in the part of the stage that has the house burning down. we were surprised by it...so i left him alone for a minute and he tried to do it again, and sure enough, right through the tree. it seemed pretty simple to do. you have to get the spacing on it JUST right tho. have to be under the branch of the tree...about 1 - 2 ft away(im guessing)

I believe this is another incarnation of an already discovered tech known as Stage Scarring. There is a thread in the Wolf discussion started by someone named Scar about it. Nonetheless, good find. I'm going to test this out a bit.

discovered. Scar made a thread about it...everlasting yay even made a video of it, accompanied by a crappy song. I think scar's thread may even have a list of stages it works on, as pokemon stadium isnt the only one. The ones i can think of right now are battlefield and smashville

hmm, if you can scar the tree on stadium, what else can potentially be scarred on other stages? this could open up some options, ie an opponent feeling safe behind a wall, pillar, etc, w/e, when Wolf shoots in with the illusion straight through the obstacle, sweetspots, and in the resulting confusing, aerial/smash attack/something else for a KO. needs testing i guess. good find.
