Hey everyone, the Groose just had a fantastic idea. Its a little gimmicky, but if players want to play on Pokemon Stadium 2 competitively, The Groose has figured out a way.
The trick is you need to go into 8 player smash and have 5 players registered. Select pokemon stadium 2 as the stage. At the beginning of the match ,all players who are not competing SD, leaving only the 2 competitors. The two players can now play freely on the stage without it cycling through the other transformations.
8 player smash removes some stage elements to limit the strain on the hardware, so as a result Pokemon Stadium 2 will not cycle through any of the other transformations, but only if 5 or more players are registered in the match. It might be a bit of a hassle to get 5 controllers and human players registered for only one stage, but if players want to play on pokemon stadium 2 as a legal stage, this trick just might work.
