As some are aware, there is a rom-hacked version of Pokemon Fire Red, called Pokemon Shiny Gold. This is seemingly Pokemon Gold Version recreated into a more modern, similar version to Fire Red.
As explained here, http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=74447 , one patches Fire Red and the hack itself, using IPS, and transfers it to a Visual Boy Advance. Though the thread states that it is still in development, it has been in its final production. (there are Youtube vids that show tutorials and gameplay)
It's not liceansed by Nintedo, so the game is not offical, also, it can only be played on computer, not actually on the GBA. Make sure to read all instructions and FAQ's from the site before posting. =/
Edit: It has been proven true, as I have been able to follow set instrucitons to the final product. Though, saving may be an issue, being that it can't be saved directly off of the game save function.
