These guys are raising money for Ally's House. All donations they get will be for charity.
They're playing like 6+ Pokemon games simultaneously and are aiming to catch all 493 Pokemon within 72 hours.

They're at a bit over 24 hours and they've caught over 201 Pokemon.

I think it's wicked cool personally (and as cheesy as that sounds).

If I had a credit card or whatnot I'd donate to them. =)

that's an amazing idea, although I wonder how well the donations side of the whole affair will go...

their livestream has a lot of activity though and I even heard they're getting some news coverage, so hats off for a creative idea that looks like it'll work.
