I just started thinking about this, but here's my theory of Pokemon Creation.
Arceus, the Creation Pokemon is said to create the whole pokemon world with its 1000 arms. First, it created Palkia and Dialga first in order to manage time and space, then it created Kyogre ,Groudon and Rayquaza to create the the ozone,land and the ocean. After that, it created Celebi in order to make peaceful grasslands, then came Mew. Mew was the blueprint of all pokemon and that's when Arceus began creating pokemon, one after another they came from Arceus mind and began populating the world then... humans came. Arceus knew all about humans and decided to allow them and pokemon to frolic and have lives together.The first pokemon were all of the prehistoric ones, Cranidos, KABUTO, etc. Then , Arceus began the concept of evolution. After humans and pokemon began to bond closer and closer AND when times became more modern, Arceus bagen creating new pokemon in order to watch over the whole world, Legendaries, all of them were created to watch over certain areas. Sone pokemon were man-made like Voltorb and of course, the Porygon Evolutions. Deoxys was created when arceus gave life to a Meteorite. As for the rest, they are all gaurdians of each region. As for Lugia and Manaphy were all used to protect the sea while Ho-Oh was used to protect all humans and pokemon. Darkrai was created by the Darkness of people and by seeing what was caused by that, an Endless Nightmare, Arceus created Cresselia in order to free people of that nightmare. Uhhhh, as for Missingno, Arceus's first slip up maybe? Also, the 3 Spirts of the the lakes, Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie, were the first legends created, why? Because they gave humans personalities, as for pokemon, well, I don't know. Entei, Raikou Suicune, Regigigas, Celebi , Shaymin,Heatran and Groudon were created for the Land while Manphy,Kyogre and Lugia formed the sea, so really, Kyogre and Groudon created the Land and Sea while Regigigas and Lugia made it better. Regigigas tied each of the lands together while Celebi provided forests and grasslands, while as Shaymin provided plants and flowers to make the land more beautiful, the Suicune gave Rivers, ponds and lakes, Entei and Heatran provided volcaneos to make more land while Groudon was asleep after the batlle with Kyogre and Raikou created storms to provide moisture for the land as well as more water Suicune could purify and make into more Lake and ponds. As for the seas, Lugia provided liveable water for water pokemon everywhere while Kyogre was alseep after its fight with Groudon. Manaphy provided a ruler of the seas to protect it from any harm. Jirachi was a gift to humans. Pokemon die, of course we ALL know. Dusknoir guides the lost spirits to Giratina who is the protector of that world and sends them to their proper place. But most of the time, they're sent to the spirit world. Umm question? Anyone notice Giratina has a beard?
