I love the Project M stages, but I'm quite put out that they removed Pokémon Stadium II's transformations, I was hoping to bring them back, I tried copying over the Brawl version, but it didn't work, does anyone know how I would do this myself?

They didn't removed Pokemon Stadium's transformations. They just couldn't bring them back because of the stage modding limitations. Same goes for pokemons on Saffron City. You can't bring them back.

I think they made a code to lock the stage into neutral, but don't quote me on that.

The transformations and pokemon are very different. Transformations were present in Brawl and the PMDT just chose to get rid of them. It would be easy for them to bring transformations back. The pokemon on Saffron, however, are hazards and Brawl mods are currently unable to create hazards from scratch.

what the **** are you talking about. They removed the transformations themselves, whether it was via code or .rels.

Whoops, thought of something else. My memory about vBrawl got rusty, so, i thought there was only 1 stadium and they brought back Melee version. Haven't touched it since 2013. Then there is a simple solution for that - delete st_dxpstadium.rel and STGDXPSTADIUM.pac from module and stage/melee folders. Sorry about that.

He's talking about Pokemon Stadium 2, not the first one.

In such case delete st_stadium.rel and STGSTADIUM.pac.
I tried that, didn't seem to work, I think it has something to do with the coding as good ol' GFooChombey said, I heard some other people discussing something similar with the Fire Emblem stage, and it was entirely code-dependent.

And that got me thinking... They can't add stage hazards... So what if they kept the Spear Pillar hazards and placed the Pokémon that correspond with those moves pop out at the door of Saffron? Unrelated to the topic a bit, I'll admit... And it wouldn't have the perfect authenticity, but hey, better than nothing?

Then what is this:

I tried and it works perfectly. Platform uses Brawl design instead of Project M design for obvious reasons, but i think that can be fixed easily.

That won't work considering how Spear Pillar and Saffron City hazards work.
