I don't want to nor regularly play Project M, but if you want Project M players to fight, try this thread or check out Anther's Ladder. On Anther's Ladder specifically, I've noticed that while Project M doesn't have as many active searches as Smash 4 or Melee, there's still plenty and I'm sure you'll find someone who wants to play with you.
