Thanks i'll try it out laterI'm 75% sure that it works. You just have to(correct me if I'm wrong) wait to insert the SD card until after you've opened the Wii menu.
An actual adapter does exist.Even if PM does boot up on the Wii U, there aren't any GC controller ports, right? Would the USB>GC Controller converter for computers work with the Wii U?
It works perfectly on my wiiu you just have to open the wii menu and go about it the same way you would on the original wii.
ps. I use the adapters and it recognizes the gc controls for brawl and project m

The adapter simply makes your GC controller read as a classic controller, so anyone saying it doesn't register with brawl is BSing. I use it and play project M on my Wii U regularly, works just like normal. The buttons are even preset correctlyI'd also love to hear what people think of the adapter. I've been using a Classic controller pro on my Wii U.
But that makes light-pressing L-cancels impossible then, since the wii classic controller's shoulder L/R buttons aren't analog...right? And don't they only have one shoulder button on either side...? (no equivalent Z button?)The adapter simply
