PM 3.5 [Dolphin] Character can walk but won't run?

Today I booted up PM from Dolphin after not playing it for a while. I changed some Dolphin settings to make it run smoother but when I started playing I noticed that my character can walk, but cannot run. I've tried everything, it just won't work. Please help ;_;

EDIT: Okay, So I fixed the running issue, I had to adjust the radius of the stick. But after doing that, I can't wavedash. Ugh

The radius of a real gc remote is around 90-100. If it is impossible for you to wavedash, that's an issue. If you have trouble doing it then you just aren't doing it right.
