I've recently tried combining PM 3.5 cBliss gct and the Stage Expansion gct and when I loaded Project M, it just went back to the Wii menu, can I fix it or something? Or if you could provide a gct with them combined

EDIT: the gct is 120 KB, don't know if this affects the problem

I haven't tried combining the stage expansion GCT, but I just finished my huge custom build with cBliss and the ASL Tool. I have around 200 stages, so maybe try that method instead if you can't get this to work out?

I tried it but whenever I press my button combination it doesn't choose the stage, do I have to push them when choosing the stage or do I have to them down?

You have to hold them down. You also have to rename the .pac to have the letter you gave it in the ASL Tool at the end so like "STGFINAL_Z.pac" or "STGFINAL_Y.pac". You also need a correctly named and (and converted if need be) module file. There are multiple tutorials here and elsewhere so I would look at those if you have any other questions.
