PM 3.5 Black Screen after announcer says "GAME!"

Let me get this out of the way first,
Q: Why PM 3.5?
A: Because 3.6 crashes on the CSS, SSS, so I can't start a round.
And I also am using a 2gb SD card no SDHC,

Anyhow, I'm using the homebrew version of 3.5 and I can play, have a good time, then the announcer says "GAME!" Then
it cuts to black like it's about to go the results screen, but instead, my Wii U freezes on the black screen, forcing me to unplug it, any ideas? I've been trying all day to find something, but I haven't been able to, I checked the troubleshooting thread as well, if you have an idea on how to fix this, please do tell, I've tried:
Using
3.6 non Homebrew, (Crashes at SSS, CSS *Loud buzzing*)
3.6 Homebrew, (Same as above)
3.5 non Homebrew, (Crashes as soon as the stage loads *Loud buzzing*)
and 3.5 Homebrew, (Crashes at black screen after "GAME!"

any, and all help is wanted/appreciated

Where did you get your SD Card?
Have you Reformated your SD Card?
Is your SD Card on Lock when its in your Wii U?

No, my SD card is unlocked,
I have tried reformatting and re installing,
It came from the 3DS, I had gotten a new 3ds so I decided my old SD card to good use,
Do those ones not work properly?

I knew it, The 3DS SD Card doesn't work correctly with Brawl Mods, I suggest going out to a store and buying a SD Card. Trust me, I tried the 3DS Card it didn't work.
