I'll be brief. I've never played anyone other than LVL 9 CPU's in Project M. I had Melee from age 10 to 14, and only played against my brothers, and we didn't exactly know about the competitive community. We ALWAYS played free for alls with items on high.

I've been playing Brawl for 3 years, online through Basic Brawl, and I've played a few good 1 VS 1 competitive matches, so at least I'm not a total scrub, but I've never played against a human via PM, and only my brothers during my young, casual Melee days.

I desperately want to play a competitive PM match against someone. Most of you have played competitive Melee for years, so I'll likely get stomped, but I'd like to know for sure where I'm at competitively in PM.

So, any takers? Who wants to play?

I think the sword Ganon is why we are desyncing when you pick him.

Sword ganon isn't sanctioned by P:MBR, so if you want a serious match, your first step should be to get rid of him...

Agreed. The desynch was pissing me off. I'm ditching it. I'm keeping my Melee Ganon costume though.

yea after the update i can't get my netplay to work, i always desync

Did you edit the .bat file for the 3.0 iso builder? easiest way to make a 3.02 iso that's compatible
if you ask in the Netplay IRC they can tell you what to do

You can find people to play through WiFi elsewhere (via IRC for example). The boards isn't the best place to find since you don't get instant replies.

Finally got it working, tested it and i had no desyncs, but i had to make like 6 iso's before it worked
