Please insert the SSBB disk message

Whenever I play Brawl, the game is fully playable for about 1 minute, then after 1 minute a screen comes up and says: Please insert the Super Smash Bros. Brawl game disk. Before that its fully playable, Brawling, watching the intro, Subspace Emissary, etc.. Can I fix this problem on my own? Or do I have to send it to Nintendo? Also when its at the screen where it tells me to insert the disk, when I tilt the wii in some way it makes a buzzing noise. I have installed Homebrew channel with cIOS and IOS stuff (sorry I'm a noob when it comes to homebrew) could that be why Brawl suddenly stopped working? Thanks!

Check the bottom of your disc. Does it look all that scratched? If not- it might be your Wii. Brawl is a dual layered disc, so it because unreadable to dying Wiis first.

If the disc seems very scratched on the other hand.... buy a new Brawl disc.
